Location: Tapeka Point, Bay of Islands, Northland, New Zealand. Tapeka Point is located approx 1 Km from historic Russell with a sandy, safe all tide swimming beach and a large variety of activities. Close to the tourist town of Paihia with a 10 minute passenger ferry service from Russell wharf. Tapeka is less than 3 hours drive from Auckland or one hour 10 minutes by air to nearby Kerikeri. This is the gateway to the famous Bay of Islands and the perfect base for a Northland vacation.
