La Torretta, the home of the Scheda family, is a beautifully restored 15th century palazzetto, located in the historical centre of Casperia a charming medieval hilltop village in the Sabine Hills.There are 6 guestrooms, all with ensuite marble bathrooms, tastefully decorated, and offering stunning views of terra cotta rooftops and olive clad coutryside hills. Rooms are rented on a bed and breakfast basis. Guests are served breakfast in a panoramic upper room with an outdoor sundeck overlooking the Sabina countryside. The guests lounge features original frescoes, antique and designer furniture, comfortable sofas, books everywhere, game table, satelite TV, a tea and coffe making area and a fridge. An ideal place to relax, enjoy the tranquility of village life, and discover the real Italy. Suitable for adults and families.

La Torretta offers charming Tuscany B&B accommodation in Casperia in the Sabine Hills and is located just one hour north of Rome by car, and is easily accessible from Rome City or Rome Fiumicino Airport by train. The accommodation offers wonderful views in a stunning hilltop village, where visitors can enjoy strolls through labyrinth of winding streets and ramps in totally pedestrianized area contained within the medieval walls. The area, Sabina is still relatively undiscovered by mass tourism and is dotted with medieval hilltop towns, each with a local restaurant. There is a bank, post office a few shops, a supermarket, restaurant 2 cafes, and two 15th century churches in the village. Within a 5 minute drive an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts, a nearby golf club. An ideal location for excursion to wonderful art cities such as Rome or Orvieto, or to spend a relaxing day in an outdoor hot sulphur water spa, all within one hours drive. The area is famous for the DOP olive oil and there are numerous local festivities during the summer months.
